Having attended college, we know how important it is to choose the right school. When students choose the wrong university and have to transfer, they often lose many of the credits they earned at their first school which results in delayed graduation and huge expenses.
Many people look back on their college years as one of the best time periods in their lives. The demand for an education creates a great deal of competition which in turn results in the ever increasing education cost. The only way to truly get a good feel for the school is to take campus guided tours. Talk to to the students, talk to the faculty and talk to the university alumni. You should look at choosing a college like a job interview, except you are the boss who will ultimately decide on which university to attend. Don’t make the common mistake of going to a college or university just because your parents or your uncle went there. You are you own person and have to live with the decision so take your time and think of the process as an interview. The colleges are the potential employees and you are the boss.
